Opuntia 'Snow' , also known as "Snow Prickly Pear" or "Opuntia Snow Fuzzy," is a distinctive indoor cactus prized for its unique appearance. Its flattened segments, called cladodes, are covered in fine white spines, giving it a soft, fuzzy appearance.

Origin: This cultivar comes from the genus Opuntia, native to the arid regions of North and South America. It was selected for its particular aesthetic characteristics.

Growth: Opuntia 'Snow' exhibits moderate growth, forming flattened segments that can reach 10 to 15 cm in length. Indoors, it can reach a height of 30 to 60 cm. Its cladodes are densely covered with white glochids, tiny spines that give it its "snowy" appearance.

Flowers: This cactus can produce cup-shaped yellow or red flowers, usually in spring or summer. However, flowering is rare when grown indoors.

Light: Prefers bright light with direct sunlight. A southern or western exposure is ideal for healthy growth.

Watering: Requires moderate watering. Allow the substrate to dry completely between waterings to prevent root rot. In winter, reduce watering as the plant enters a dormant period.

Substrate: Use a well-draining, cactus-specific potting soil. A mixture of cactus soil and coarse sand or perlite is recommended to ensure good drainage.

Toxicity: Opuntia 'Snow' is non-toxic, making it safe for pets and children. However, its glochids can cause skin irritation, so it is advisable to handle the plant with care.

Well built
Well made product. I have an volvo xc60 and it fits the oil filter housing perfectly but because of its thickness, there's some interference with the heat shield or it could be part of the skid plate assembly that is next to the filter housing.
