Love the high waist and fabric!
I absolutely hate jean shopping, I also don't like spending$60+ on a pair of jeans. I have purchased Amazon Essentials items in the past and feel like the quality is good so decided to try these out. These are almost perfect. I do feel the sizing is off. I wear Size 13 in Wax Stretch Jeans and had to order a 16 for these. They are a bit long but i was able to fold them in once at the cuff. I would have given them 5 stars however the waistband is NOT stretchy. I do love the high waist fit however the waist does not stretch at all which is why i probably had to size up. But the overall stretch is good. I loved these so much I ordered the skinny jean version and those fit good as well, but same issue with the no-stretch waist band. I hope they keep the style and fabric of these because I fill definitely purchase again. It's a true black color. The fit is very flattering.

Basically a wide leg jean with minimal flare. May look good on someone taller but I may as well have been wearing an old pair of ufo pants. If you’re on the shorter side and looking for an old AE skinny kick look, these pants are not it.
