Having passed rigorous testing to become certified as an infant car seat, stroller and reclined cradle, the Doona Infant Car Seat/Stroller conforms to safety standards ECE R-129, FMVSS213, ASTM F833, ASTM F2050, ECE R44 EN1888, EN12790, TUV (EU), FAA (US) and aircraft approved for travel meaning you can rest assured that this car seat/stroller still contains all the safety elements you would expect, but with a little extra something.

The car seat features anti-rebound crash technology, unique double wall Side-Impact Protection and an integrated superior 5-point safety harness that will keep your baby safe and secure on their travels. I ordered this chair back in December 2015 for our front office, and it's been moved to our back shop where we fabricate. We're not a gentle work space by any stretch of the imagination; we build stuff and it's messy, lots of tools etc. This chair has held up surprisingly well! The faux leather is delaminating almost entirely on the seat but honestly, I'd expect that for faux leather on something that is used daily. The seat pad, in my opinion, has gotten de-poofed. So it's not plush anymore but still usable. I've asked the guy that's using it if they want an upgrade/update and they said they like it and don't want to change it out just yet. That's saying something! The size is nice and wide. We've had a range of differently sized folks sit in the chair over the years and the seat was always comfortable (less now without so much seat poof), I was able to sit cross-legged and the whole chair felt sturdy then as it does now. All of the standards functions you'd want an office chair to do, it can still do: it goes up and down smoothly, it rolls just fine, it's still pivot-reclines comfortably and doesn't feel like it's going to topple. I like it!

And the directions for pretty easy there were a couple of spots that I think we're out of order because you had to kind of play around with the screws going into the holes from the arms but I think if I were to get another chair like this I would probably do it my way because it's pretty self-explanatory but I followed the directions that came with the chair. And hey I'm 65 years old and I put this chair together. It's nice it's sleek and oh my God is it comfortable!!! Right where my lower back and sciatic is I get the support and it just feels good and I know that if I have to be at my desk for 3 or 4 hours I'm going to be comfortable. I highly highly recommend getting this chair. The only issue that I had was the driver did not leave it on my porch. I had ordered a Vizio TV a couple months ago and the driver brought it up to my porch. So I just had to go out and take two steps bring it into the house I really appreciated that. This driver didn't even come through the gate and there is no signs of any dogs because there aren't any. So this driver just left this giant heavy box it was about 35 lb in front of the garage where it was very visible from the road. And I had a dragon to my front door it was heavy I did not like that at all. But it wasn't damaged or anything and I do love the chair. I just don't like what the driver did.
