Meet the Ficus Audrey (Ficus Benghalensis), the sophisticated, easier-to-care-for alternative to the finicky Fiddle Leaf Fig. Historically revered as the sacred 'Banyan Tree,' this stunning variety boasts lush, matte-textured emerald leaves dramatically accented by bold, creamy-white veins. Growing rapidly once established, it transitions beautifully from a charming desktop sprout into a majestic, structural statement piece for your home. Perfect for plant parents looking to add instant architectural class and vibrant, tropical energy to any brightly lit space.
instructions:
These seeds grow slowly, so we recommend using the following to sow the seeds:
To plant the seeds:
Select a light and well-draining potting medium(like coconut fiber), and water it until it is very wet. Add it to your planter of choice, sow the seeds on the surface of the soil, cover with a humidity dome and keep in a warm spot(a heat mat is ideal) and in bright, indirect light. Leave the dome on and let it do it's thing! Only open it about once a week to add water and make sure it stays consistently moist until the seeds germinate.
These Ficus varieties like bright, indirect light. For the adult plants, let the soil dry between waterings and fertilize every couple of weeks during the growing season.
(Find more info on germinating seeds by going to our seed guide)
These seeds are for the 2026 growing season.
