Philodendron White Wizard – A Magical Climber with Bold White Variegation
Philodendron White Wizard is a highly sought-after climbing Philodendron, featuring large heart-shaped leaves with striking white patches and streaks. This fast-growing beauty thrives when given climbing support.
A Showstopper with Pure White Magic
- Features bold white variegation that contrasts sharply against deep green leaves.
- Unlike White Princess, White Wizard grows as a vine, making it perfect for moss poles.
- An easy-care houseplant with strong aerial roots for support.
Essential Care Tips for a Healthy White Wizard
- Light: Requires bright, indirect light to enhance variegation.
- Watering: Let the top 2 inches of soil dry out before watering.
- Humidity: Prefers high humidity (60%+).
- Soil: A well-draining mix with bark, perlite, and peat moss.
- Fertilization: Feed every 6 weeks for robust growth.
Propagation: How to Grow More White Wizards
- Stem cuttings in water root within 3-5 weeks.
- Air layering speeds up root formation before separation.
Common Growth Issues & Solutions
- Brown variegation? Avoid direct sunlight and overwatering.
- Slow growth? Needs higher humidity and climbing support.
- Yellowing leaves? Reduce watering frequency and improve drainage.
With its striking white patterns and fast-growing nature, Philodendron White Wizard is a must-have for climbing plant enthusiasts.
