1/4 Cup Scoop Covers 100 Sq. ft., $16.99 per scoop.

If you’re tired of local deer and elk treating your garden like a personal salad bar, the Deer Resistant Wildflower Mix is your secret weapon for a beautiful, colorful landscape. This expertly selected blend features flower species that foragers typically avoid, allowing you to enjoy a lush, vibrant meadow without the constant worry of wildlife damage. It’s the perfect solution for mountain homes and open landscapes where four-legged visitors are common.

This mix is a powerhouse of color and variety, combining annuals for immediate impact with hardy perennials that establish deep roots for year-after-year beauty. You’ll find a stunning collection of "unappetizing" favorites, including the stately Rocket Larkspur, fragrant True Lavender, and the classic California Poppy. The blend also features nectar-rich species like Lemon Mint, Giant Purple Hyssop, and Bergamot, which might keep the deer at bay but will absolutely invite butterflies and bees to the party! With a supporting cast of Sweet Alyssum, Blue Sage, and Gold Yarrow, your garden will be a tapestry of blues, purples, oranges, and golds.

Success Tip: To give your seeds the best possible start, we recommend using Watters Premium Mulch. After sowing your seeds, apply a light 1/2-inch layer of mulch over the area. This helps lock in essential moisture during the germination phase and protects the delicate seeds from being washed away by our sudden Arizona rain showers. Once these plants are firmly established, they become much more resilient to the occasional curious nibble, ensuring your "Deer Resistant" meadow stays picture-perfect all season long. #DeerResistantGarden

Important reading for every working woman!
Format: Hardcover
Let me start by saying that this isn't a genre I am normally drawn to. I usually am a fiction reader, but a trusted friend recommended this book so highly that I felt I should give it a chance. I'm so glad I put aside my hesitation, as I really feel this is a book that every woman in the American workforce should read. It is a fascinating primer in how we got where we are, and how much effort it took to gain even our somewhat compromised equality. While the legal issues involved can be a little complex, Thomas does an excellent job of breaking them down into straightforward concepts. I also really appreciated her ability to make the whole process of moving a case up through the Court of Appeals and eventually to the Supreme Court come to life. For those of us who are not in the legal profession, this process can seem mysterious, but this book made it easy to understand. By clearly and patiently laying out the facts of each case, Thomas also gives the reader the opportunity to test their own assumptions and think through the logic of the cases for themselves. For me, it was a fascinating opportunity to weigh my assumptions about my political leanings against my intellectual analysis of the facts, and I often surprised myself. All in all, I think this is an important book, and also a surprisingly accessible and engaging one. You will feel smarter and much more informed after reading it. And if you are a woman, you may well also feel grateful for those brave women (and men) who fought and struggled to make your experience in the workplace fairer.

Like a real-life legal thriller. Especially if you're thrilled by the progress we've made.
Format: Hardcover
This book, while deeply researched and rigorous, is the opposite of legalese. Thomas's vivid, thoughtful, witty storytelling reveals the real (and courageous) people behind the cases that made employment discrimination law what it is today. It shows not just the impact of law on people, but the impact of people on law. These women's struggles (and those of the advocates at their side) are both infuriating and inspiring. (That was me on the subway yelling at the book, alternating between "WHAT THE HELL?!" and "YOU GO, IDA!") Read it on the train, read it on the beach; just read it. I have a zillion friends with spring birthdays, not to mention my mom (who came of working age during this gender-siloed Mad-Men-tastic era) and I'm buying it for every single one.

A serious read about a very relevant, non-fiction topic... not a light hearted read.
Format: Kindle
A serious non-fiction, not a leisurely novel... very detailed, lots of research went into this, and a lot to be learned from reading thru it.. an excellent education of all that leads up to our Supreme Court,... and serious relevance to the 60’s, 70’s, up to now.... for many women.

Entertaining read
Format: Kindle
I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Excellent Details
Format: Kindle
If you're like me, you've probably either never heard of these cases or heard about them in only the broadest of strokes. For remedying that, this book is excellent. Thomas provides a detailed account of how these complaints came to be, how they wended their way through the cases, and why they are important in terms of outcome and legal precedent. This is a book that I'm glad to have read and one that I would highly recommend to others.
