San Pedro Cactus | Non-PC San Pedro Cactus | Echinopsis pachanoi | Trichocereus pachanoi

The authentic San Pedro varieties you’ve all been waiting for! This robust cactus is fast growing, easy to maintain, propagate and grow in your home potted, or in the ground.

These seed grown cacti will come in a variety of spine lengths from medium to short with a frost tolerance to the high low 30’s and a high tendency to offset and form branches. Mature plants can grow into stands over 10-20 feet tall with a diameter of 5-6 feet wide or more when in the right conditions.

Sold per piece, Bare Root without any soil or pot. Small scarring is normal and expected but will not affect plant. Discoloration on the bottom of the cactus is normal from being planted in soil.

These cacti are a Non-PC Genetic from New Zealand Pachanoi hybrids. They are seed grown and express many different phenotypes meaning they will have different spines, notching, and coloration.

Cactus will generally be thicker as they get bigger in size, but this is not guaranteed.

All of our cactus are individually inspected before shipment for health, pests, and cosmetic defects. Small blemishes, scratches, and lost spines or areoles are normal and should be expected on cactus. We do our best to limit these in our care and handling of the plants but due to the nature of the plant and their sharp spines your cactus may have some superficial scars. Rooted plants will show a discoloration and may be slightly softer under the soil line where they have been planted before shipping. This is totally normal and should be used as a reference of how deep to plant the cactus.

Great for explanation of difficult concepts, with review questions each chapter
Format: Paperback
I always thought I could never understand pharmacology, so going through my Acupuncture school, I got though my pharmacology courses by rote memorization and pure luck. Then, in practice, I realize that I do have to understand pharmacology, what with the high use of medication in patients' daily routine. So I was looking for a hood, concised, simple to understand pharmacology review that I can do a quick study/review on my own time. Thankfully, I found the right book. This book is everything I've been looking for and amazingly simple to understand. I love the review questions at the end of each chapter. I wish I had found this book while in school, but for $20, it's really help me understand why my patients are taking certain drugs. It also helps me understand the western deconstruction of the Chinese medicinal herbs. I wish they'd come out with a pharmacy review just for Chinese medicinal herbs and potential contraindications, just for acupuncturists and herbalists. The current available herbal medicine textbooks just pretty much list the herbs and note western research on it, but not much of an explanation. With age, I find that I can no longer just do rote memorization, so understanding the basics really helps me to remember and apply concepts. I use this book in my clinic concurrently with a textbook on Chinese medicinal herbs pharmacological concepts to help me understand. And for that, I give it the five stars it deserves.
