This soil moisture meter has a bi-metal probe that gauges the conductivity of soil to measure moisture content. It indicates readings from 1 to 10 (dry to wet) on a display. By consulting the accompanying guide, listing moisture requirements for 170 plant types, you can easily determine whether a plant needs water immediately or has been over-watered. For example, a reading of 1 indicates adequate water for a geranium while a fern (optimal moisture level 6) would be in desperate need of water. This meter is designed to use only in soil. Ideal for houseplants, window boxes, patio planters and hanging baskets.

The soil moisture meter makes it easy to assess your plant's true watering requirements. It has a 26.5-inch long flexible cord, so you can hold the meter in one hand to view results, while using your other hand to insert the 4.25-inch probe into the soil. I recently purchased the SIHRMIU 2 Pack Dog Chew Toys for Aggressive Chewers with hopes of providing my energetic dogs with both entertainment and stimulation. While these toys boasted durability and were designed to alleviate boredom, my experience with them yielded mixed results. Upon receiving the chew toys, I appreciated their sturdy construction and the promise of durability, which was essential given my dogs' penchant for aggressive chewing. The variety of textures and shapes seemed promising, offering potential for engaging play sessions that could keep my pets occupied and mentally stimulated. Initially, my dogs showed some interest in the toys, eagerly sniffing and exploring them. They seemed intrigued by the different textures and shapes, and I was hopeful that these toys would provide the entertainment they needed. However, as my dogs began to interact more with the toys, it became evident that their interest was short-lived. While they engaged with the toys for brief periods, they quickly lost interest and returned to their usual chewing favorites. Despite their designation for aggressive chewers, the toys did not seem to withstand the intense chewing of my pets as well as expected. Within a short time, I noticed signs of wear and tear, with pieces starting to break off. While the SIHRMIU dog chew toys offered some stimulation and diversion for my dogs, they ultimately failed to hold their interest or stand up to their aggressive chewing habits. While they may be suitable for dogs with less voracious chewing tendencies, they were not a perfect fit for my pets. In conclusion, while these chew toys have potential and may work well for some dogs, they fell short of expectations for my aggressive chewers. I appreciate the effort put into their design and durability, but unfortunately, they did not meet the needs of my furry companions.
