Light needs: Bright indirect light encourages the most prolific and long-lasting blooms. It tolerates medium light but flowering slows. Avoid direct sun which can scorch the glossy spathes.

Care at a glance: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a phosphorus-rich fertilizer to encourage blooming. Mist occasionally or place near a humidifier for best results.
