Anthurium 'Constancia' (Brown) – Elegant Tropical Foliage with Rich Bronze Tones

Elevate your indoor garden with the striking Anthurium 'Constancia' (Brown), a tropical beauty prized for its velvety, heart-shaped leaves that showcase a captivating blend of deep green and warm bronze hues. This sophisticated cultivar adds a luxurious touch of texture and color, making it an ideal centerpiece for any plant collection or indoor space.

Appearance

  • Leaves: Large, heart-shaped leaves with a velvety texture and prominent white veins. The leaves display a mesmerizing color gradient, starting with a rich, chocolate brown hue at the center and transitioning to a deep green towards the edges.

  • Size: This Anthurium can grow up to 2-3 feet tall and wide indoors, creating a lush and eye-catching display.

Growth Habits and Care:

  • Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.

  • Water: Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings.

  • Humidity: Prefers high humidity levels. Increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, using a pebble tray, or running a humidifier.

  • Soil: Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix.

  • Temperature: Ideal temperature range is between 65-80°F (18-27°C).

Additional Information:

  • Anthurium 'Constancia' (Brown) is prized for its foliage, which is often more striking than its blooms. However, it can also produce small, inconspicuous flowers on a spadix.

  • This plant is relatively easy to care for, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced plant enthusiasts.

The succulent plant housed in the black pot comes in a 100mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.

democracy in action or am I allowed to vote
Format: Paperback
This is a superb document on the history of voting rights in America from its founding to 2000. Well worth reading about the struggles of Americans to get the vote. The discussion of suffrage for all Americans. How those that had the vote trying to prevent other people from getting the vote. We struggle with this today, given that President Drumpf is more than willing to disregard the majority of American voters. Our democracy beware and here is the history.

Incredibly well researched
Format: Paperback
Purchased in light of the current election fraud/security debates. I learned nothing so far is new. Data intensive. Can be dry at times, though many of the quotes from historical figures are revealing as to prevailing attitudes.

Excellent and thorough
This must be the definitive history of voting in America. I hold back from giving it five stars because it was a little more than what I was looking for, but this is as thorough as I have ever come across. Also, I love charts and graphs, and he has a great array of tables at the end. Interesting tidbit was the role war played throughout American history in expanding the right to vote. Also, though we all know how the right to vote gradually expanded, but what many of us didn't realize was how the right to vote actually shrunk at various points in American history. That is, some people who had the right to vote had it taken away at various moments in American history. When all is said and done, this is a great book.

read!
Format: Kindle
I had to read this book for a political theory class, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keysarr did a great job of researching and writing it. It was not as dry as some of the other, similar books I've read. I would definitely recommend this one, even if it's not for a class.
