The leaves of the Anthurium dressleri X can grow very large, upright, and spread out from the stem. They are almost circular with a pointed tip, and the base of the leaves can either barely overlap or have a distinct gap. The leaves look dark green and velvety, with the undersides being a lighter colour. The surface of the leaves is slightly bumpy, with a matte or slightly shiny light green color. New growth emerges in metallic pink or tan colours.

Anthurium dressleri X plants prefer a dark and humid environment with dappled sunlight. In nature, they can be fairly unobtrusive when growing alone or in small groups, but larger colonies on ridge tops can be quite noticeable.
