Maranta leuconeura

This beautiful forest-dwelling plant is native to the tropics of Brazil boasts beautiful red lines and mesmerizing leaves that move throughout the day -- lifting and lowering, as if in prayer, which earned them their name.

As houseplants, their sideways growth encourages them to hang down as they get longer and heavier, which makes them lovely hanging plants for the ceiling or shelves.

Keep your Prayer Plant in medium to bright indirect sunlight, and water once every 7-10 days. Like other types Calatheas, the Prayer Plant likes its soil to be moist, but not soggy -- let this plantita dry out about 50-75% of the way through before watering again!

Growing this plant near a humidifier or in the bathroom will help avoid crisping ends, and keep its leaves remaining lush.

The plant shown in the photo of this listing is a 6" Prayer Plant. This plant is completely safe for pets!

If you’re worried about getting your water schedule right, we recommend using a Moisture Meter! These handy tools will help you gauge if your plant needs water or not, without the mess of sticking your hands in the soil to check.

If a plant is out of stock, we apologize – we’re very grateful for our community’s support, and can sell out of certain plants quite quickly! We get new plants about once a week and try to source all our community’s favs as fast as we can.

If you’re local to the LA area, we recommend coming into the shop when you can, especially if you’re looking for a new plant! We have much more plants in our store than we display online, as well as a full backyard greenhouse that houses our discounted rehab plants that need a bit more TLC from a new home.

NOTE: Decorative pot not included.

It’s absolutely perfect for fetch in the dark!
Size: One-Size-for-Most
We needed to find a glow in the dark ball to run our over active dog after dark ( gets dark now about 5 pm ish) I was hesitant to buy this ball at first. We went to try it out and it totally blew my expectations! The ball really glows, it’s a durable rubber and when it hits the ground it lights up blue and red. Incredibly satisfied and just ordered 2 more. If you need to run your dog in the dark, this is absolutely for you. Highly recommend it

Dog loved it
Size: One-Size-for-Most
Great! My dog loves taking it outside at night so he can see where it goes easier. Super bouncy, he has had it for over a year now and still not destroyed. Perfect size for his mouth too and easy to clean.

Terrible product
Style: dog ball launcher
Terrible design. With most dog ball launchers, swinging your arm like you're throwing a baseball results in a long arching trajectory of the ball, just as expected. The same arm motion with this launcher results in the ball flying straight up. To get the ball to even move forward requires an un-natural forward snap of the wrist, and even then it doesn't travel far. Hasn't anyone tried this out before hitting the market?

Great product
Style: dog ball launcher
Very easy to use, assemble and disassemble. Saves my arm a lot. Unfortunately once my dog runs to the ball she gets side tracked and I have to fetch it. 🫤 I highly recommend this product.
