Fresh leaves emerge in a brighter shade and gradually deepen in color as they mature, giving the plant a subtle, changing look over time.

Recently reclassified as Leptochilus pteropus, this plant is still widely known in the aquarium hobby as Microsorum pteropus. Like other Java Fern varieties, it is hardy and easy to care for, making it suitable for a wide range of planted aquarium setups.
