Although not a true palm, the Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta), offers a look into what life looked like on prehistoric Earth. These glossy, dark green cycads have been growing and thriving since dinosaurs roamed the Earth. As you can imagine, the plants are incredibly hardy houseplants, or can even be planted outdoors in full sun where hardy. The feathery foliage on Sago Palm Plant makes an excellent background plant for a corner indoors or an accent plant on an end table in the living room or dining room.

Easy to Care for Sago Palm Plant

Sago palm plant is classified by a large cylindrical trunk that does not branch and leaves that unfurl from a center rosette, usually falling as they grow old, leaving a crown of leaves at the top growth point of the plant. Sago Palm Plants are one type of cycad that have been around since dinosaurs roamed the Earth, and they have evolved little since then. Dark green, glossy, and smooth foliage is extremely symmetrical and geometric, making this a very attractive plant to view from above.

In containers, these plants typically will not flower. Outdoors, the sago palm produces a brown, upright inflorescence that, once pollinated, will produce small, seeds. Because of their solid green foliage, the Sago Palm plant will match virtually any space and color indoors or outdoors. Sago Palm is an incredibly slow-growing, low-maintenance plant. The most common problem that people encounter is giving them too much water; these plants are prone to rotting if the soil does not drain properly from the container or location they're planted in. Sago Palms are very low maintenance plants.

Vader when he still is Anakin
Format: Paperback
This comic picks up right where Episode III left off. Like directly. There's the whole "Noooooooooo" thing and everything. I liked seeing Vader when he is new to being a Sith. It really is Anakin under there still. Throughout the comic, that Anakin begins to fall away. I liked the mix of prequel and original trilogy aesthetic. Seeing Vader alongside clone troopers was very cool. The Grand Inquisitor even makes a cameo! I read the Dark Horse comics that took place right after Order 66 so certain aspects of this comic remind me of those. In this comic, there are jedi who took the Barash Vow prior to the Purge, so they are still out and about in the galaxy. Vader takes this opportunity to take a lightsaber and make it bleed. I really enjoyed this first volume in a new, ongoing comic series. I am absolutely excited for volume two. I give this volume a 5/5.

The Lord Vader Treatment
Format: Kindle
Love this Darth perspective. It potentially fills in some gaps in the timeline in the beginning of his transition. Loved the humor and the art.

A true Meghan Quinn masterpiece!! 😂✨
Format: Audiobook
🎧 Rules for the Summer by Meghan Quinn Narrated by Stella Hunter, Shane East, Cassandra Medcalf & Gary Furlong A true Meghan Quinn masterpiece!! 😂✨ I laughed my a** off from beginning to end, and the narration honestly could not have been more perfect. Every narrator absolutely nailed their character and brought all the chaotic, hilarious, emotional, and spicy moments to life so well that I never wanted this audiobook to end. And the accents?! Absolute chef’s kiss 🤌🔥 They made the listening experience even more fun and immersive. Theo and Henley were such a fun couple to follow. The banter, chemistry, tension, and absolute ridiculousness between them had me smiling nonstop. And Aunt Kitty and Rupert? ICONIC. Honestly, they stole so many scenes for me and added even more humor and heart to the story. This book had me laughing out loud one minute and fanning myself the next 🥵😂 The spice was definitely A LOT… but honestly, are we even surprised when it comes to a Meghan Quinn book? She always delivers the perfect mix of humor, romance, chaos, and steam. The audiobook production was phenomenal. Stella Hunter, Shane East, Cassandra Medcalf, and Gary Furlong made this story feel so immersive and entertaining. Their performances elevated an already fantastic story into one of those audiobooks you just never want to stop listening to. Absolutely loved this story and highly recommend the audiobook version! Happy Reading/Listening 🎧📚

Perfectly hilarious summer romcom
Format: Paperback
Rules For The Summer by Meghan Quinn is a romcom you’ll want to pack in your bag to read by the pool or beach this summer. You also can’t go wrong with the audiobook narrated in duet by Stella Hunter and Shane East with Melissa Metcalf and Gary Furlong as the side characters. They were perfectly cast and had me laughing out loud as the characters found themselves in even more ridiculous situations. The dynamic between Theo and Renley was so entertaining. I loved their game of Truth or Dare. Once they started falling for the other, they did not hold back on their spicy times. Not only do we get the delicious tension and chemistry between Theo and Renley, but we also get a front row seat to Theo and Rupert’s friendship and their amazing banter as well as the amusing dynamic between Rupert and Renley’s aunt. * Mix up Meet Cute * Small Town Romance * Neighbors * Forced Proximity * A list of rules * Opposites Attract * He Falls First Pick this one up if you are looking for a fun, light-hearted romcom with plenty of spice.
