A layer of powdery farina further accentuates this already unique aesthetic; though take care not to mar this coating with oils from your fingerprints! Reaching up to 6 inches in diameter, these petite plants will develop the most pronounced bumps as they mature, creating a long-lasting impact in any container or temperate rock garden!

'Raindrops' is unique for an Echeveria, in that it is able to tolerate outdoor shade quite well – though bear in mind that outdoor shade is still brighter than indoor shade, which may prove too dim for these succulents! That said, they will still flush the richest shades of pink if provided with bright sunlight, which will also help ensure that the rosettes do not begin to etiolate. Ample airflow, porous soil with excellent drainage, and thorough watering only when the soil is completely dry will round out the remainder of ‘Raindrops’ key care requirements, giving it the best possible chance to thrive.

During the winter months, be sure to protect these succulents from frost – and as the weather warms in the spring, the plant will begin to put on active growth and send up stalks of pink blooms!
