The Ridge Merino Wool Balaclava is designed to protect your head, face and neck in the harshest conditions. This piece is guaranteed to keep you warm. It's constructed with our 260GSM Merino wool fabric for natural warmth and breathability, and blended with a bit of spandex to keep its shape. The balaclava can be worn under your helmet or knit hat or on its own.

The balaclava features a mesh panel for easy breathing when worn with the face guard up, and the hinged construction makes it comfortable worn down when face protection isn't needed. Ultra fine Merino wool is soft against your skin and offers 50+ UPF sun protection. It also wicks moisture and resists odor-causing bacteria. Unlike other balaclavas made with polyester or synthetic blends, ours has no chemicals added for performance. For a product you breathe through, we think that's pretty important.
