This special edition of the Band of Gypsys Fuzz pays tribute to the legendary Jimi Hendrix with a custom finish featuring prolific and celebrated rock artist John Van Hamersveld’s famous 1968 Shrine Auditorium concert poster art remixed by Simon Berndt of One Horse Town Illustration. A buzzsaw starburst, peaceful sunflowers, and psychedelic lettering awash in warm, vibrant colors highlight the magic of contrasting forces. Packed into an MXR mini housing, the Jimi Hendrix ’68 Shrine Series Band of Gypsys Fuzz is based on a mysterious Fuzz Face Distortion that Jimi Hendrix used at several iconic shows between 1969 and 1970, most notably the Band of Gypsys performance. Red with white knobs, this particular fuzz sounded like a completely different beast from any of the other Fuzz Face pedals in his arsenal, snarling with an aggressive, biting tone. The pedal itself has been lost to history, but its unmistakably unique sound lives on in recordings. Our engineers narrowed the sound down to a version of the Octavio® circuit that didn't have that pedal's famous octave-up effect. After making a few tweaks, they nailed it with the Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini Distortion. Now, you can get the same Fuzz Face tone Jimi used to woo the masses at some of his most famous performances.

She had 1 best friend I wish we could have seen a little bit more of their friendship in this book. Her relationship with the male characters was good not to contrived or super instantaneous. And we had some fun plot twists that I didn't expect. I wish we had more of a follow up on the situation with her family her background and her mother who was a wench. I would definitely recommend this book.
