I love the original aqua cream but it seems they have changed the formula and it is a much thinner, more liquidy product. The scent has also changed, though itās fairly neutral, and it now comes in a smaller glass container compared to the original plastic.

Obsessed. Soothing, effective, fragrance-free, incredibly healing
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
Iāve been loving this so much I bought a second bottle after a few days of using it. It has all the skin soothing benefits of the tolerance lotion cleanser, but itās also a really great cleanser. Itās almost not noticeable how good it is at cleansing because your skin doesnāt feel stripped after, but it takes things off really quickly. I was worried because it doesnāt foam a lot and it feels so nurturing ā much like the tolerance lotion cleanser (which I use as a second cleanse when my skin needs a few days to recover from something like a derm office treatment) ā but when I wash again with my favorite HG cleanser nothing extra comes off, and I tested it twice on waterproof eyeliner that Iād swiped on my forearm for an hour or so, the eyeliner dissolved and wiped off with two or three gentle swipes. It has a very emollient texture, so when you rub it against your skin it slips so easily you donāt realize itās dissolving and taking things away because there is no friction. So itās great at taking off makeup, itās AMAZING at cleaning makeup brushes, and IT DOES NOT BURN MY EYES AT ALL. Also, it is FRAGRANCE-FREEā¦ before I bought it I read a review complaining about smelling a citrus fragrance, that person either has some sort of brain tumor or something spilled on their bottle when it was in a warehouse because this is definitely a fragrance-free product.
Prior to trying this, I had tried another cleanser that gave me weird acne hives all over my chest (never happened to me before) and I was struggling to heal the acne and the irritation. I noticed an immediate difference when I started using the tolerance cleanser on it; the fresh redness went away, the acne started healing, and the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation has been healing fast. So Iāve been using this on my body as well and itās soothing and moisturizing in all the places where other things have been drying. I have mild rosacea and I hadnāt realized how irritated my skin was from the last thing Iād tried until after 5 days or so of using this my skin tone looked much more even and the stubborn PIH I have from a two-zit hormonal breakout a month ago finally looked dramatically lighter (as recently as the week before, Iād needed to cover them with high-coverage concealer).
Because this doesnāt foam much, some people might not realize how well itās cleaningā¦ I encourage you to judge it based on how your skin looks and feels. Since it is very emollient though, I do think itās important to use it with a face wash scrubber or washcloth just to ensure youāre getting some mild mechanical exfoliation and clearing away skin cells that could be trapping stuff in your pores. For this reason, I do wash my face with this twice so the first wash can get off makeup/debris/oil and then the second wash can really penetrate and clean my skin.

No Scent and Gentle
Style: Tolerance Daily Foaming Facial Cleanser
I broke out in a case of Perioral Dermatitis recently and bought this product to help before I could see my doctor. Avene Tolerance facial cleanser has no scent and is very gentle on my skin. It didnāt burn when washing with this product, and even helped to slough off the dead skin around my lips. My face feels clean, not dry. I am still going to see my doc to get an RX for the inflammation, but I do believe this product helped to alleviate the dryness and tightness of my skin and lips. Iāve used other Avene products and Iām very happy with them. Even though these products are more expensive, to me they are well worth the money because they are much more gentle on the skin than any other products Iāve used. I will buy this product again just because of the fact that itās so gentle. PS: at the time of purchase for this product, I also bought Aveneās Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Cream (you donāt need to use a lot of this one on your entire face), and Aveneās Cicalfate for lips. Between these 3 products, my lips and skin feel a lot better (however, I will still see my doctor because I have Crohnās Disease and Perioral Dermatitis is considered an extra-intestinal side effect of Crohnās).
