The white dress features a Velcro closure behind the collar, black sleeves and a black peplum with white lace trim. At the bottom of the long skirt is a black fabric with white lace accents. The white bonnet is held in place by the ribbon tie around the neck. In colonial times, women dressed modestly. Dresses had long skirts to cover all the legs and the top had long sleeves. This was practical too and would help keep women from burning their limbs while cooking over wood stoves. The bonnets kept the sun out of the eyes and, in stormier weather, protected them from the rain. Shoes and basket are not included.Shipping Notes

5 STARS: These shoes are awesome. I keep coming back for more. I have major foot problems, have tried all kinds of shoes, orthotics, and inserts... but believe it or not, these shoes work better than any of that stuff. I wear them daily. I buy lots of them, for home, for church, and I'm getting my first pair of J&M boots today, for winters in Indiana... Brrrr
