Made in the most vibrant shade of pine green velvet, this original 1950's dress, is just the piece to welcome the change of season with . 

The V shaped neckline is framed by wide shoulder straps that join the backline in a matching V shape design. The sleeveless cut, frames the fitted bodice, which boasts double dart seams along either side of the bust-line. The fitted waistline, is accented by a matching green velvet belt, which is embellished centrally with silver claw set rhinestones in a scattered design. The elegant line of the skirt, boasts small gathered pleats that radiate from either side of the front of the waistline, drawing the eye to the classic line of the skirt, which is finished with a central kick pleat along the back of the hemline. This dress is lined in rayon along the neckline and shoulders.

Shoulder to Hem: 41.5 inches

Closures: This dress fastens along the centre back with a 16 inch plastic zip. 

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition, with some natural impressions to the velvet. Very light colour variation to the rayon lining along the shoulder and neckline. Some light rusting to the metal toggle of the belt. A scattering of white pin sized marks along the right hand side hemline towards the side seam area. This minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
