Stylish & fun, this is a dress made to evolve with you through pregnancy and after, and will be your wear-on-repeat dress for beach holidays, babymoon and summer events.

What’s unique about this bandeau-style maxi dress is that we’ve designed it to grow with you to look just as fabulous at 9-months as it does afterwards. The bodice is shirred (smocked) for structure and support, and then elevated with an oversized frill that gives such a flattering contemporary look, which can be adjusted to wear tied at the back for extra support or let loose.

Modelled on a 39-week bump here, we wanted to design a maternity Summer dress that was so easy to wear and ensured you looked and felt amazing all the way through, and then afterwards too for those due Summer babies.

Features

  • Maxi-length, bandeau style dress
  • Viscose fabric in cobalt blue & brilliant white print
  • Shirred top for support, with an oversized frill that can be tied or left loose at the back
  • Easy-to-wear style for all occasions – maternity maxi dress for beach wear, babymoon or for evening wear
  • Made in London: Sustainable, ethical & slow fashion brand
  • Model is 5ft3 high, in a size S, and 39 weeks pregnant
  • Machine washable as per the care label
  • Free UK delivery, easy Returns

You will never have a ‘nothing fits’ moment with this bump-friendly style, and it covers a multitude of bonus pregnancy-friendly features such as maxi length to hide unshaved legs, no need to worry about right underwear and shirred top means it will never feel restrictive around rib cage / breasts.

The CARI mission is functional style, clothes that make your transition through the stages easier – because when you feel good about how you look, you step into this new world with a little more confidence.

Go Read Art Smith or Charles Wright
Format: Paperback
This book is clearly the case of someone steeped in a lyric tradition, but, rather than engaging in the self-reflexive structure of the tradition, is interested in describing ad nauseum, his southern experience. While there are moments in the book that tend toward the sublime, it rests largely as self-indulgent in a way antithetical to the form it chooses.

Dr. G.
Format: Paperback
Jesse Graves (a.k.a. "Dr. G.") is one of my professors at East Tennessee State University. Not only is he a great teacher, he is a very talented poet. I would recommend his work to anyone! Anyone that does not like his work probably just failed his class. :p

Incredibly Prescient -- Touches On The Major Trends Of Our Times
Format: Hardcover
I was blown away by the fact that the author started writing this book a couple of years ago, before artificial intelligence was in the news, and before the topic and trend of loneliness became so prevalent. The clairvoyance is uncanny and the storyline, while fictional, is totally believable given what's going on in our world today. This is why the novel almost reads like nonfiction, but the plotline carries you forward like a fictional thriller. I audibly gasped, "Holy crap" during the plot twist at the end of the book. Truly a work of art, there is no doubt that this will be adapted for either a movie or a series.

Deeply human, yet visionary
Format: Kindle
This book takes a thoughtful approach to the notion of loneliness in the faces of AI and the many robotic companions already in development or on the market.

Compelling story, beautifully written
Format: Kindle
Loneliness & Company was a fantastic read. In a truly novel take and an incredibly fun read, Charlee Dyroff confronts both the growing endemic of loneliness and the looming threat of AI, pushing us subtly to think deeply and thoughtfully about the implications of both. More than that though, Loneliness & Company is beautifully written, populated by great characters and is driven forward with a compelling, narrative. Its the first book in a very long while that I couldn't wait to get back to. Definitely would give this my strongest recommendation.
