FOR OPTIMAL WOUND HEALING - As wound exudate is absorbed, the alginate forms a gel (they didn't really stick to the wound & were comfortable), which assists in maintaining a moist environment for optimal wound healing, and allows intact removal.

LESS PAIN AND TRAUMA - The alginate pad doesn't stick to the wound, and keeps the wound area clean. It can be cut and folded easily, use to fill the cavity, promote granulation growth.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION - Silver Alginate Dressing is indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding partial to full thickness wounds, including, postoperative wounds, trauma wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, graft and donor sites.
