One of my most popular sewing patterns is this hourglass-shaped dress! When I made this sewing pattern, I wanted to simplify complex corset-making techniques into a design that is easy to sew but keeps the same structured look. It took many tries and adjustments, but in the end, it turned out exactly as I imagined.

This strapless corset dress sewing pattern has a stiff, boned bodice, a cinched waist, and a flared, bell-shaped mini skirt, creating an hourglass silhouette. The dress is fully lined, with the lining acting as a built-in corset for structure and support.

Comfy and Cool Shark Shirt

We live near the beach, so I love finding ocean themed clothing for my little grandson. He loves this colorful swimming sharks crew neck t-shirt. He says it looks "cool." I haven't noticed any shrinkage or fading. I've been drying it on a warm setting (though cool is ideal), but I’m pretty careful not to leave it in the dryer too long to avoid wrinkles. He's been wearing it since his birthday in February, and so far, it's kept its shape, and seems to resist stains.
