This lingerie chest is from France and dates to the early 1900's. It is made from solid oak and finished to a warm medium color. The fit and finish on this chest is high quality. The drawers are solid oak and very well made with dovetailed joints. The entire chest is in very good condition with small scratches here and there and a light crack in the top (see photos). I know it’s not whipped and that it’s a balm, but it is way too thick and heavy for me. I have been using it on my chest and neck and even on my legs and it is very hydrating and makes my chest extremely soft, even 12 hours after I put it on. I love that it’s a clean product with great ingredients. It has a very mild scent, almost non-detectable. I was really hoping this would be a good one for my face, sadly it did not hit the mark for my sensitive skin.
