This feminine classic is designed for lace, border, or ombre fabrics for a sheer outer layer quality (an “overdress” layer) over an opaque second fabric or lining (called “dress”), but can be equally beautiful in a single layer of comfortable cotton. The easy to fit bodice with midriff has below-elbow raglan sleeves with darts for good fit and mobility, is gathered under the bust and finished with self fabric binding at the scooped neckline. Both views have the same full gathered skirt, but view A has a slightly angular hemline with godets great for a double edged galloon lace, and view B has a rounded hemline, best for fabrics without a straight-edge border design. Closure is a center back zipper. The waistline is accented with a tied or pinned ribbon embellishment.

    Suggested Fabrics : Designed for soft or crisp fabrics in a light to medium weight. View A Overdress look for: Lace, bordered eyelet, or any fabric with an embroidery finished edge or crosswise directional prints and florals with an edging, View B Overdress look for: All-over lace, eyelet, embroidered fabrics without an edge finish and ombre’s (colors that fade from edge center) Directional or non-directional prints without an edging. Overdress Fabric Types: organza, chiffon, gauze, georgette, organdy, lawn, and voile. Dress, A or B: cotton, rayon, wool, satin, crepe back satin, faille, taffeta, sateen, and light weight denim are only a few great options.

    Perfect if you're anything like me

    I have about 20 small jewelry boxes sitting in my closet, stacked up high, threatening to topple over any time I reach over them to grab something else. I don't know what's in those boxes, except that it's jewelry I purchased and liked well enough to keep so that I could wear it again. But since all of the pieces are closed up inside, I almost never wear them because I don't want to dig through all 20 boxes to find the 1 thing I want when I'm already almost late to wherever I'm going. If ANY of that sounds anything like you, you need this jewelry box. Is it the most premium thing you've ever seen? No, but does it have a lot of storage space for a pretty compact form factor and hold a ton of stuff? Yes, it totally does. And is the price super reasonable? Yes, it is. And if you kind of squint at it, and look through softer eyes, it doesn't really matter that yes, this is kind of cheaply constructed, and the dividers do move around a little bit because they're not anchored to the sides of the trays. I was able to consolidate all of those jewelry boxes down into this one box, and I no longer need to hold my breath when I try to grab something over the top of the pile because I was able to throw. them. all. out! The satisfaction of purging my own personal leaning tower of Pisa was worth the price alone. But onto the nitty gritty details: yes, the see-through part is acrylic and not glass. I'm okay with that because I don't need more breakable things sitting in my closet. Yes, the dividers aren't super stable. I'm okay with that because they work well enough and keep each piece where it belongs. Yes, it's pleather (aka "vegan leather"). I'm okay with that because I don't need cow hide to hold my jewelry to make it feel more precious, especially because most of my jewelry is pretty inexpensive stuff anyways. I don't notice any glaring cosmetic defects when looking at it, aside from the one very squiggly scratch in my acrylic top that doesn't bother me too much, but since it does mean that quality control may be a bit lacking, this gets a very solid 4 stars.

    Very stylish and elegant jewelry box suitable for your jewelry needs. I needed something for my extensive jewelry collection. I use this for my everyday jewelry, and it works perfectly. I chose the two-tier jewelry box, and I love how sturdy it is. You can put a lot in the box without it being overcrowded. The blush color gives it a soft look, but also the compartments on the inside are soft as well. It is of good quality and a value for what you get.

    Pretty jewelry box

    I really like this jewelry box. It is a great size and can fit lots of pieces. The box is also chic and a beautiful pink color. It also seems to be well made. The only thing I don’t love about it is the lack of variety in the compartment size. The compartments are large or small squares, if there were long rectangular compartments they would be more ideal for necklaces. Overall this jewelry box works well and is worth the cost.

    Nice jewelry box
