I didn’t note finding any “problems” with what I found in this commentary, but I didn’t use it on every passage.

This is a simply magisterial commentary, and almost certainly the best yet on 1-2 Thessalonians. Not only does Weima present a balanced study of the backgrounds and the text itself, but his commentary serves as a thorough catalog of the secondary literature. It bears the fingerprints of long and careful study, and deserves a place on the bookshelf of scholars and serious laymen alike.
