This piece can be made in a sheer Silk Chiffon or a sheer French Lace.  Wendy makes many slips- V Slip, Bias Cut Slip Dress, Slip Dress with Train, Aquarius Slip Dress, Libra Slip Dress, Fitted Slip Dress, and others-  that can be worn underneath. The same shape can be made in an opaque Silk Charmeuse. It can be worn alone or layered underneath the sheer piece.

The one thing I did like about the Carhartt one, it had a magnetic strap for the cash where as this one has a fixed money clip, but I see no problems with the design. Very minimalist design.
