The FOB Factory F2432 Selvedge Garage Denim Jacket is a refined expression of vintage workwear design fused with modern Japanese craftsmanship. Built from 14.75oz premium Japanese selvedge denim, this jacket combines a classic garage-jacket silhouette with thoughtful functional details, making it an ideal everyday layering piece.
The denim is rinsed once at the factory, removing surface stiffness while preserving the fabric’s integrity and deep indigo tone. This results in a jacket that feels comfortable and broken-in from day one, while still offering long-term aging potential. Over time, the indigo will continue to develop subtle fading and character unique to the wearer.
The regular fit offers a balanced silhouette with enough room for layering without feeling bulky. Functional design elements include a single front chest pocket, pleated front panels for ease of movement, and a classic cinch-back detail, allowing for minor waist adjustment and authentic vintage character. Contrast stitching highlights the construction and reinforces the jacket’s workwear roots.
The jacket is finished with durable steel buttons, chosen for both strength and industrial character. Every detail reflects FOB Factory’s commitment to honest materials, practical design, and long-term wearability.
Fit Notes: Although this is a Japanese-made jacket, the sizing runs closer to Western standards than traditional Japanese fits. If you usually wear a size M in American jackets, we recommend selecting a size 40 (M) in this model. As always, we advise consulting the size chart to ensure the best fit.
