This design debuted on the runway in multiple similar floral fabric patterns. As pictured, Jenny McCarthy wore the same dress for her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in September of that year. Additionally, the floral chiffon version was also Jennifer Lawrence's choice look when appearing on the Graham Norton Show back in 2016. Dolce & Gabbana are considered the inventors of a Mediterranean style that draws its inspiration from women of Italian realism, sensual and austere like Anna Magnani, to whom they dedicated a collection whose key element was the 1940's slip.
