Every reveal added another layer to the story, and I constantly changed my mind about who could be trusted. Frieda always knows how to create characters that are flawed, complicated, and just suspicious enough to keep you hooked. The emotional side of the story mixed perfectly with the thriller aspect. The themes of betrayal, secrets, marriage, and manipulation made the story feel intense and realistic while still delivering the dramatic twists her readers love. The ending was absolutely wild and left me sitting there replaying everything in my head afterward. Another fabulous read from Frieda McFadden. She truly has become one of my automatic-read authors because she never fails to entertain me. If you love psychological thrillers with nonstop tension, unreliable characters, and jaw-dropping endings, this one is definitely worth the read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
