Description: A nice vintage porcelain or bone china figurine of a lady standing in a ballroom yellow dress and holding a "Carnet de Bal" (or ballroom note book where she would write the names of the gentlemen who asked her to dance) in one hand and a pen or pencil in the other. The lady has blond hair with curls and a blue colored bow on top. Her beautiful hoop yellow dress has darker highlights in the pleats and blue bows near the bottom and has a white fringe decorated with brownish yellow or gold colored crosses. She is standing with her carnet de ball in her hand while using the pen in her other hand to write in it. She has beautiful sleepy eyes and red lips. This is a piece of hand painted and nicely crafted bone china from the Pretty Ladies Series. The piece is titled "The Last Waltz" and is known to be the creation of the Artist Mary Nicoll. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: Uncertain but most likely sometime between 1965 and 1990. The piece has been discontinued by Royal Doulton.

Origin: England.

Size: It is ~8" high, with the base being by ~3 1/8" by ~ 2 3/4". the piece weighs about One pound and 1 ounce.

Maker: Royal Doulton.

Marks: Has the Royal Doulton mark and is also marked "The Last Waltz" under the mark. It also shows the numbers "NH 2315; COPR. 1965" and the words Doulton & Co. Limited as well as many additional numbers below.

Condition: The piece is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks, crazing or repairs. It has some soiling on the foot where it would sit on a surface. Other than that the piece is superb. Just a very colorful and beautiful piece. Please view photos to appreciate quality of the piece and for additional condition information.

Books arrived in fantasic shape.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I was worried about making the purchase due to other people having problems with miscut books and glued pages. I ordered the set of three and they are all in great shape. No miscuts or glued pages. Every page seems to be printed legibly. I'm very happy with my purchase. I didn't see any recent reviews so I thought this may help some of those hesitant to buy.

Good so far.
Format: Paperback
I will be using these heavily in a month or two, I ordered them because they were on sale so I will come back and edit once I actually read the material, use the glossary, online tools, etc. However from out of the box? All the books are in perfect condition, no sticking pages like other reviews. I will say if you can afford the hardcover version with the labs? Get those. From touching them once or twice so far, this book will not stand up to constant use. It's a really flimsy type.. not even sure if it's paper? It feels like plastic paper. I will also add that that study guide book is F A T . I wish they would have split it into two. I bet the hardcover is gigantic because mine looks like the biggest dictionary you've seen, and I know the cover page which is almost exactly like the pages? Will be ruined once it starts being used consistently.

Very Useful
Format: Paperback
I used these for my A+ exams and I didn’t really end up reading the material. I more so used them for their practice exams. That’s only because there’s a lot of information to digest and I was in a rush to take the exams. I still passed so I find that they are well formatted. The questions imo needs to be read more throughly than the exam questions themselves.
