The defined waist and full skirt are the epitome of femininity, and note the shirtwaist, which was also popularized by Dior during this era. This dress was made in the 1950s by American brand L'Aiglon. The skirt would have been worn with crinoline underneath for added fullness, but it has a great (yet wearable and modern)
