- You can’t miss this plant, as it has some of the boldest and brightest foliage around. Speckled with golden spots, Crotons add a tropical touch to your home. These exotic plants have a reputation for being high-maintenance due to their tropical nature, but once established they are relatively low maintenance.
- Crotons like warm weather, and they tend to grow best in an environment that is around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures below 60 degrees Fahrenheit or chilly drafts of air can cause the plant to lose its leaves, and it is possible that it may even die.
- Crotons have some of the boldest and brightest foliage around. Often vividly marked with bright yellow, orange, and red, these exotic plants have a reputation for being high-maintenance due to their tropical nature, but once they acclimate to their new home, they’re quite low-care.
