Canonically it is the fifth game in the series, but it is the eleventh main installment overall. It is the sequel to Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes released the year before and a prequel to the original Metal Gear. The gameplay borrows and expands upon most of the mechanics introduced in Ground Zeroes, which was a smaller slice in content in anticipation of this title. The game is set in 1984 with Big Boss also known as Punished "Venom" Snake as the protagonist. It takes place in Afghanistan and the border between Angola and Zaire as Big Boss seeks revenge against the Cipher group led by Skull Face who destroyed his forces and almost killed him in Ground Zeroes. At the start of the game he wakes up in a military hospital in Cyprus and is almost immediately attacked by soldiers and a strange, burning creature. Emotionally messy relationships with unreliable narrators

Meg Eden Kuyatt guides us through a beautifully lyrical journey into the life of V, an autistic girl forced to spend the summer with her overbearing grandmother. The story is often more metaphorical than literal, which works well thematically since it revolves around emotionally messy relationships with unreliable narrators, making the details of both the past and present difficult to pin down. Overall, a great read that will be appreciated by both kids and adults looking for mature, nuanced stories about dysfunctional families and the autistic experience.

A New Favorite

Another great read by Meg Eden Kuyatt. I am not much of a scary books fan, but this one was so good. I especially loved that the main character has autism and we learn so much through how different members of her family treat her.

Fun educational book
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
This book is a big hit! My 5 year old son and I read it so many times since we ordered this in April. It has cute illustration and 60 flaps and pop-ups which make the book even more exciting. And because of this, I don’t recommend this book to young kids under 3 though. Some flaps might be tricky for younger kids. Even I as a parent learned so much about construction.
