The Hoya Compacta ‘Mauna Loa’ is a stunning and unique plant known for its tightly curled, deep green foliage with a waxy texture. Its trailing vines make it a perfect choice for hanging baskets or shelves, adding a touch of elegance to any indoor space. It is easy to care for and well-suited to both beginners and seasoned plant enthusiasts.
Light: The Hoya Compacta thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate medium light levels. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as this can scorch its delicate leaves. A spot near an east- or north-facing window is ideal.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. The Hoya Compacta stores water in its thick, waxy leaves, so overwatering can lead to root rot. In winter or low-light conditions, you may only need to water every few weeks.
