Size it right
This bunch can be kept as it is in a small to mid sized vase. If you plan to pair it up with other flowers, you might want to consider orchids, roses, and leafy green fillers.
Know the story
The name Anthurium has Greek origins and means, “tail flower”. Anthuriums have a bold and theatric presence with their large brightly colored flower spathes and the long ornamental spike (spadix) that protrudes from the center which is where the tiny real flowers grow.
Since many varieties of this bloom have a heart shaped petal, it is known as a symbol of hospitality. The flower is believed to bring good luck and enchantment to the soul.
