The tarp overlap welding machine is used to weld thin films and foils, like tarps, signs, and banners. Companies like large format sign creators that produce Lamar Graphics and Circle Graphics (think Super Bowl, stadium signage, or concerts) as well as smaller suppliers that do wide format printing on vinyl fabric use the LEISTER Variant T1 welding machine.
Welding with the Variant T1 is pretty straigh forward, a sign is created as several long panels (8’W x 40’L - this is an example the sizing can be larger or smaller) and then those panels are welded together using the Variant T1.
