The PageFlip Firefly page turner is a Bluetooth/USB pedal designed for musicians who struggle to turn their sheet music pages while they're playing their instrument. The Firefly page turner is PageFlip's premium dual pedal, supporting wireless Bluetooth connectivity to your tablet as well as wired USB operation. It is great for hands-free triggering of app functions (e.g., page turning). The Firefly features:

The PageFlip Firefly page turner works with iPads and Android tablets under various apps that accept keyboard commands. By simply tapping the dual pedal of the PageFlip Firefly, digital sheet music can be flipped or scrolled in either the forward or reverse directions, so you never have to interrupt your music just to turn a page. The pedal works with any software on Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. The pedal emits a keypress with each tap so any app that responds to a Bluetooth keyboard will also work with the PageFlip Firefly pedal. Description

How it works
The PageFlip Firefly acts like a standard keyboard and works with any software that can read keyboard strokes to navigate through digital files. The pedal emits key presses, such as up/down arrow, as users tap the left or right foot pedals. Most compatible apps use the up/down arrow mode to turn pages and this is the default pedal mode, so the user won't even have to make a selection on which pedal mode to use.

Reprogramming the pedal
The PageFlip Firefly page turner offers the option to reprogram the five preset modes so that each pedal can now transmit any desired key press combination or hotkey function. Simply download the free PageFlip iOS/Android app on the App Store or Google Play Store to reassign the pedal functions. Older Firefly pedals (<V14) require you to download our free software, pair the pedal to a Windows or Mac computer using Bluetooth, and run the downloaded software to reassign the pedal functions. Just press the Mode Reset button on the rear of the pedal to restore the factory settings anytime.

Compatible iPad apps
The page turning device works with iPads under keyboard-compatible apps such as forScore, OnSong, unrealBook, Deepdish GigBook, MusicReader, Music Podium, Newzik, NextPage, PowerMusic, Avid Scorch, Scorecerer, Set List Maker, Steinway Etude, Virtual Sheet Music, Planning Center Online, Teleprompt+, Kindle, iBooks, and more. Compatible Android apps
The PageFlip Firefly also works with any Android tablet under select apps such as MobileSheets, SongBook, Fakebook, Lyrics Flipper+, Moon+ Reader, EBookDroid, Cool Reader, ezPDF Reader, and EP45 Pro. Additional compatible Android apps can be found here. 

Desktop software
The PageFlip Firefly pedal also works with any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer. Try MobileSheets or PowerMusic Software for superior sheet music display and annotation on Windows platforms.

Bluetooth
If your computer does not have Bluetooth, no problem. You can either purchase a Bluetooth USB dongle from us that you can plug into your computer's USB port for instant wireless Bluetooth support, or you can use a USB-C cable for wired connectivity!

External pedals
Musicians and avid readers can easily connect their favorite external switch to the PageFlip Firefly to trigger page turns. Sip-and-puff (breath-controlled) devices or Ablenet Jelly Bean pushbuttons are examples of popular switches available to people with disabilities. Musicians will, of course, prefer to tap the PageFlip Firefly, or a connected external pedal, with their foot rather than take their hands (and their focus) off their instruments.

I would have maybe given a better rating if they hadn’t lied about it being indestructible and recommended it for my dogs size range! It didn’t last the first day. However my dog may be a bit above average when it comes to his relationship with the balls! It’s an issue and he should probably be in a 12 step program of some kind. Other than that. The ball pretty dang tough! But it’s not indestructible is it a big deal. Well in this world of way to many choices and then having to find the few that will tell you honestly what your getting and are not over stating their product! Just to get your money. And couldn’t care less about the quality! It sucks that we have to navigate all the crap to find the few decent things available. So it most certainly does matter! And I say that for their benefit the most hopefully! Because people are craving and constantly looking for a company that just makes the effort to put out the best they can. And tell you the honest description of what they have. That stands behind their work and puts more effort into quality then they do into profit. With the faith that the quality and integrity in their company will end up bring them the profits they can be proud of and know that they earned! Honestly! Is this company one of those! I don’t know? It’s not clear and in their defense I never reported the sneaky man’s demise on day one! I expected that. But indestructible is a descriptive word that has a very specific meaning. And when it’s used in a manner that it was! Then you’ve set yourself up to fail as there are very few things that meet that description! And I know I’m picking hairs here. But it’s words that get used like that wich makes one appear to have not met the standard they wanted to! And maybe you don’t realize its impact on your overall until it’s far down the road! Can it be said better. Sure . Always room for improvement. But I would certainly remove the claim that’s just unreasonable to expect. If I wanted to use the benifit the does have to offer perhaps I would have said this ball is the closest thing to indestructible we’ve made so far. That’s statement tell me that they are not claiming it is but that it’s pretty tough! And it with out exact words tells you these guys must take honesty seriously or they wouldn’t have chosen to claim the accurate step below. And that lets me know that they hold themselves to a standard that they obviously respect their customers and they don’t take them for granted that’s integrity right there and there’s just not enough of it o. This world today! Seems to me that there are a few that are really close to it though. Maybe so close it’s worth the time to just go ahead and say it. If my gut feeling is right then it’s absolutely worth the time! Do I recommend the item absolutely it’s as tough as nails! And if you hate the squeaky part. Then don’t worry it won’t last long if your dogs like mine. Or you can take the little dude out when the dogs sleeping! And I’m going to add a star because when I look at it in the wider view I’ve been a bit harder then is justified I believe. Their. Our lives today are not as good as they once were and should be! Because of our bad habit of not holding ourselves to the standards we are capable of and rather settling for what’s out there at the time. Because of many reasons right. What’s the point. Or it’s not going to change a thing. Or that as good as it needs to be. Don’t want to seem so picky and all the justification we inject in the place of our potential. That’s had a vey negative effect across the board! And we’re losing so much more then quality dog toys as a result. When we let or standards drop due to whatever reasons as a civilization then are standards drop. And that’s all you should need to know. To understand where that leads! And we only do ourselves the disservice and loss that comes from those choices. So look around and don’t hesitate to. All out that when you see it. Just try and come from a place that’s not to tear things down but to remind them of what they are really capable of! And how much we all need to hold ourselves to the highest standard we are capable of! And stop justifying excepting less! And then we see the results from that rather than the other.

It does not break apart very easily and the size is good. it fits in the palm of my hand so it’s pretty good size ball for him. It’s big enough. He cannot swallow it, but he can fit it in his mouth. I think the thing that I like the most about it and he enjoys is that when he drops it, it bounces and he can chase it. Pet enjoyment 10 out of 10 engagement 10 out of 10. I feel it’s very safe dog friendly absolutely must buy hands-down. You will not be disappointed. It’s made of a very strong. I would say rubber and it’s super easy to clean. Just toss it in the sink. Wash it off with soap and water rinse it. It’s good to go. I’m running to buy another one right now as we speak so just in case he loses it, he’ll have a backup.
