The Land Rover® X Autohome tent is the result of the experience of craftsmanship and attention to detail from the original company who invented and patented the hard shell roof tent in 1958.  A tent providing for a maximum speed of use, a real mattress to sleep on, and the best protection from all weather; the Land Rover® X AUTOhome tent is designed to enhance the practical usefulness of your New Defender.


The X-Long length works perfectly on a Classic 110 roof with rack or crossbars, fits into a G4 rack basket, and is good for any full-length roof Land Rover.  While it can be mounted to a D90 or Double Cab roof, the extra length does make for wind noise and limited support.  We suggest a standard length AUTOhome tent for those applications.

Available with or without collapsable ladder (if mounting a body or rack mounted ladder like Front Runner then save a little cost and ditch the bulk of an additional ladder) 

Enhanced to work with the New Defender 110 - door alignment to the factory accessory side mount ladder (not included).



All it takes is a simple gesture to open and close the tent, ready to start off again perfectly rested, then safe and focused on driving.

In-Stock tents are crated and shipped from our warehouse in Gig Harbor, WA, special order tents are made-to-order at AUTOhome and have a 90-120 day lead time from the factory in Italy to our warehouse.

AUTOhome stands behind the products! We want your tent to be right for you. If, within 30 days of purchase, you wish to return or exchange your tent for any reason, we will exchange it for credit toward another in stock model or refund your money - less a 25% restocking fee. The tent must be received in original packaging, new & unused, in resealable new condition.

This guarantee of satisfaction does not include a refund to cover charges for the shipping, crating, and delivery/pickup charges, nor any additional charges for upgrading to a higher priced model.

AUTOhome USA Warranty

New AUTOHome tents are warranted for the original purchaser against defects in material and manufacturing for five years from the date of original purchase. AUTOHomeUSA will repair or replace, at its option, any defects during the warranty period. This warranty does not extend to normal wear and tear, or to damage or cosmetic blemishes sustained during use. In the event that the tent must be returned to our repair facility for inspection and repair/replacement, owner must assume the cost and liability of freight. Proof of purchase date and serial number of the tent will be required.  This warranty does not include charges for shipping, crating, or taxes

The cable included is only about 3 feet long and has a USB-a plug. Teslas now have only USB-c outlets, so the cable is useless anyway. If the cable were 6’ long and type USB-c, it could be tucked under the molding and hidden. I had to get another cable to complete the installation. I like this mount/charger because it is nondestructive - it doesn’t use tape or glue to install. The magnet is strong and it charges my phone quickly.

Really a nice product!

I wanted a nice magsafe charge/holder for my phone and I tried this one and so far, it's great. Pros: - It has a really nice-looking LED behind the magsafe holder which glows nicely, as you see in the pic. - The plastic feels good, strong and (hopefully) not plastic that degrades and becomes brittle. - The rubber bumpers which hold it in place under the mount against your display seem well-placed. - It's fully adjustable between positions wherever you wish to mount it. - You can mount your phone either above or to the side of the display on any corner which provides nice flexibility. - I found it best on the upper right because on the left, the steering wheel obscures the phone and the two bottom corners aren't useful to me. - The little knobs work well to hold it in place and tighten nicely. Cons: - The only problem is how the design has the cable visible and sticking out when it could have easily been designed to integrate into the little arm so it's hidden. As it is, the ugly, out of place and avoidable USB-C cable is visible which I don't like. - You can rotate the holder to make the USB-C cable appear in front of the arm holder so it's less visible but it should have been avoided with a simple design modification and integrated USB cable for a more streamlined appearance. In any case, this is a nice addition to my Model 3 Performance to hold my phone while I drive, out of the way while still charging. Try one. M
