The Detour is a simple and revolutionary passive True Bypass Effects Loop Pedal designed by Bryan Lee Peterson. Hand Wired point to point inside with quality parts. 

Let's give you a guided tour to show you what makes ours different. 

Design: 

Bryan was frustrated with the way other effects loops pedals would not accommodate standard right angle patch cables to lie flat and out of the way on a pedal board. Pancake jacks were even worse, and many of the new flat patch cables were too noisy to use in his setup.

The solution: shift the switch up and one set of jacks down to allow enough space between jacks for them to lie flat, and move the jacks as far towards the housing as possible to allow them to pass under rather than over the cable ends. 

The reflective front design (yes it is real DOT approved High Intensity Reflective Tape) will stand out on a dark stage.  

Components:

The Gorva Footswitch is rated for 30,000 use cycles, while other brands use switches rated for 20,000 or even only 10,000 cycles. It is a soft-click that feels smoother than other switches we tried, but still gives a good haptic feel. 

The Gorva housing is lightweight cast aluminum, with a recessed back plate with a very tight fit for better noise isolation. 

LED switches from Green to Red on the switch click from True Bypass to through the loop.
