IST is a watersports industry pioneer in prescription lens masks, and we’ve brought that expertise to bear in the IST G40 Modular Prescription Goggle System with Replaceable Parts. This system offers a convenient, affordable way to get a completely custom set of prescription swim goggles you can update if your prescription changes.
It all starts with the hypoallergenic, injection molded silicone comfort split strap, which comes packaged with three impact-resistant plastic nose bridges for use in assembling your goggles.
Hypoallergenic, injection molded silicone is used in construction of the eyecups to ensure a snug fit without creating excessive pressure around the eyes. Lenses are made of scratch and UV-resistant, anti-fog, shatterproof polycarbonate material for safety and durability. Strap clips are built into the sides of the lenses, and allow for easy adjustment to fit adults or kids.
Lenses are available in diopter correction from -1.0 to -10.0 decrement and +1.0 to +8.0 increment. If your prescription is different for each eye, order a complete set in the diopter correction needed for the first eye and an additional lens for the diopter correction required by the second eye. Left and right lenses are interchangeable.
If your prescription changes there’s no need to buy a whole new set of goggles: just order the replacement lens(es) you need and substitute them for the old lens(es).
The complete G40 system comes pre-assembled in a sturdy storage case.
