The Surly Midnight Special 700c in Black Cherry Fizz blends Surly chromoly steel with carbon components for a fast, smooth all road ride. This complete build pairs a Surly Chromoly steel frame with a Salsa Waxwing carbon fork and Teravail Circos carbon rims to reduce road chatter while keeping Surly’s durable ride feel.
It uses modern road standards including flat mount disc brakes, 12 mm thru axles front and rear, and a 44 mm head tube. Tire clearance supports up to 650b x 50 mm or 700c x 42 mm without fenders, and up to 650b x 50 mm or 700c x 38 mm with fenders.
This build comes equipped with a Shimano 105 12 speed drivetrain and Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes, plus Teravail Rampart 700c x 35 mm tubeless ready tires with sealant included.
