Today, we all know that progressive geometry is the right way to go - even for lightweight XC/trail bikes! The Synonym TR is a true game changer. A radical geometry and a powerful 120mm fork in an ultra-light package offer the rider a unique experience. It burns trails like nothing else on the market. All available alternatives either have outdated geometry or are heavy and slow to pedal. Most riders who have tried this bike swear that they can ride downhill trails just as fast as on their regular, "big" trail/all-mountain bikes. This is because the limiting factor, unless you're on extremely rough trails, is usually not the suspension travel, but the position the rider takes on the bike and how it rides.
