FAQs

Do I need an allotment to use this?

Nope. It works just as well for balconies, patios, raised beds—even a sunny windowsill. Wherever the planner says “bed,” you can treat that as a planter, pot, or trough. The weekly checklists, sowing prompts, and succession ideas scale down beautifully to small spaces. The layout pages are perfect for mapping containers, shelves, or a tiny courtyard—and the companion flowers (marigolds, nasturtiums, calendula) thrive in pots too.

Is it beginner-friendly?

Yes. This planner was created because I found most resources either too vague or too complicated. It’s written so that anyone can pick it up and start growing right away—no jargon, no overwhelm. Along the way, you’ll also pick up key techniques and gardening lingo naturally, so you build confidence as the season goes on.

Can I draw on it?

The digital planner is interactive, so you can type directly into the pages on a laptop or tablet. If you’d rather sketch layouts or doodle ideas, you can simply print the pages you need and draw by hand. Many growers like to do both—typing notes digitally for quick reference and printing layout pages for hand-drawn plans. This digital product does not have capacity to draw on directly, however you can upload it to a drawing software and use it to draw on digitally if you prefer.

How do I receive the planner?

As soon as you purchase, you’ll get an instant digital download link. No waiting around—open the PDF right away and start planning.

Can I print it at home?

Yes. The planner is designed in A4, so it prints clearly on standard home printers. You can print the full planner, or just the pages you like to use on paper (such as layout sheets or reflection pages) for personal use.

Do I need special software?

No. Any PDF reader will open it. If you want to type directly into the pages, free tools like Adobe Acrobat Reader work well. Tablet users often enjoy using annotation apps such as GoodNotes or Notability.

Is this a subscription or one-off purchase?

It’s a one-time purchase. You’ll own the digital file forever and can reuse it as much as you like.

Do I need gardening experience?

Not at all. The planner was created with beginners in mind. The weekly checklists, monthly prompts, and simple notes make it easy to get started, while also teaching you techniques and lingo as you go.

Does it cover flowers or just vegetables?

The focus is on food-growing, but you’ll also find companion flower suggestions like marigolds, nasturtiums, calendula, and others that attract pollinators and support your veg patch.

Is it UK-specific?

Yes. All sowing and harvesting windows are written for the UK climate. If you’re outside the UK, you can still use the planning frameworks, but you’ll need to adjust dates to your local frost calendar.

Can I use it year after year?

Yes. The structure works every season. The 2026 edition has weekly dates printed in, but the planning tools, reflections, and guides can be reused indefinitely (although updated yearly dated planners will be available each year)

What devices does it work on?

Any laptop, tablet, or desktop computer. You can type directly into the PDF or print it out if you prefer pen and paper.

Great Value...Great Fit....Works Great!
For the money, this is a great value, and if used properly, should last as long as your N55 engine....the construction material may cause it to distort, and may be difficult to separate from the filter assembly, but if this occurs, the cap was installed too tight or it's being installed too tightly...cranking on the plastic oil filter canister lid without disregard to propr torque value will result in needing a new filter canister lid and/or tool.....I'd buy this product and same mfg products....

Not a bad oil filter wrench, actually!
Lots of hit or miss reviews here, but for me, it fits like a glove and easily allows me to apply the 25-26 Nm of torque needed to open or close my BMW oil filter cover (2020 M4 but most BMWs use the same type of filter cover). It does get on there pretty tight and might be hard to remove. Solutions: - wait for the engine to cool down a bit, and it will come right off - use a pick tool to loosen it

Great value and Perfect Fit
This little oil filter wrench fit my BMW M340i perfectly and made the job a breeze. It locked onto the cap snugly, with no slipping or wobbling, and let me remove and reinstall with confidence. The material feels sturdy for the price and if you use the proper torque instead of cranking down on the housing, it should last a long time. Highly recommend for DIY oil changes.
