Contact and broad-spectrum herbicide that acts on the green tissues of susceptible plants, where it penetrates mainly through the cuticles and is not absorbed by the roots of the plants.
This product is simply formulated as a soluble liquid which contains 150 grams of active ingredient per liter of formulation. It acts on the biosynthesis of glutamine, used according to the recommendations given, it presents a low risk of phytotoxicity to banana crops.
This broad-spectrum contact herbicide interferes with the action of the enzyme glutamine synthetase; This alteration causes the accumulation of ammonia, which is a phytotoxin which allows the herbicidal effect. The dose to add would be 1.5 to 2.0 liters per hectare, in water volume of 200 to 400 liters per hectare depending on the coverage and the state of development of the weeds.
