Our Silage Tarp is the perfect, maintenance-free tool for creating a small garden in your backyard. This black tarp is made with a thick, 6 mil plastic that is UV-resistant and won't degrade when exposed to sunlight. This tarp will be in your garden tool arsenal for years and years!

Silage tarps have many great applications in the vegetable garden. They can be used to create a new garden plot, terminate cover crops, reduce weed pressure, and even keep areas dry during periods of heavy precipitation. The tarp will cover your garden area to kill any existing grass/weeds and prevent new ones from thriving.

To create a new garden plot using our silage tarps, we recommend tilling or cultivating the soil initially before placing the tarp on the area. This will help to facilitate the process of removing the grass from the existing area. After cultivation, place the tarp on the area for a few weeks so that the existing grass will die. Remove the tarp after a few weeks, till the area again and keep repeating until all the grass is gone. If you don't have access to a tiller or cultivating tool, you can still use the tarp to kill the grass in an intended garden area. It will just take longer without cultivation.

If you have heavy weed pressure in your garden, the silage tarp is a great way to reduce that weed pressure for future gardens. We recommend doing this using our "till and tarp" technique. Till the area to bring weed Seeds to the soil surface, then use the tarp to force the weed Seeds to germinate. The weeds will quickly die due to lack of sunlight. After a few weeks, till the soil again and reapply the tarp. Repeat this process 2-3 times to reduce your weed seed bank and make your gardening experience much more enjoyable.

Fantastic Toy, Completely Worth It!
Size: Small, Style: Mallard Duck, Size: Small, Style: Mallard Duck
Ever so slightly smaller than I expected but that’s really on me for not checking the measurements. It’s not too small anyway, so it’s alright. It’s definitely a very high quality material, my dog plays super rough with it and still has yet to make more than a very tiny hole (which was easy to stitch). It’s well-stuffed, super cute, and not too realistic but realistic enough to give that duck vibe. It’s built very sturdy, so I expect it will last a long time still. It survived its first two washes just fine as well as the dryer, and the quality of the fuzz hasn’t really gone down. Definitely worth the buy! Will absolutely buy a second one when he finally does destroy this one, since he’s obsessed with it. It’s his favorite toy (and honestly, mine too, it keeps him so entertained and it holds up wonderfully).

Nice but not strong enough
Size: Small, Style: Chipmunk
I buy these for my two Corgis, who love to play tug of war with them. But it doesn't take very long for the ropes to pull out. I wish they were a little stronger.

Not up up to puppy play
Size: Small, Style: Chipmunk, Size: Small, Style: Chipmunk
This pet toy sure looks nice but it’s not made to hold up to any type of play. We have 5 lb puppy and she pulled the rope out of the body in two days. We returned it and got a replacement. That one lasted three days before the fuzzy surface was shedding all over our carpet and she was ingesting the material. If it can’t hold up to a 5 lb puppy, I can’t imagine what a larger dog would do to it.

Great toy
Size: Large, Style: Squirrel
My two dogs loved to tear into this toy. Looks like the real thing. Not very loud squeek, so it works for me.
