Description

The F1L is is a 280mm formula style wheel with integrated 4 inch telemetry display, 22 buttons and rotary dials, Hall effect magnetic paddle shifters and full console and PC compatibility.

CORE Design

We want to make sim racing affordable without locking you into an ecosystem. So we designed our CORE Series to bridge the gap from entry level sim racing to pro level sim racing by making it possible to use the same wheel on an entry level wheelbase such as the Logitech G29/G920/G923 series and then seamlessly, connect it to a Direct Drive wheelbase from other sim racing brands.

Logitech Compatibility and Beyond

The "L" in F1L stands for Logitech highlighting the wheels ability to be compatible with the Logitech G29/G920, G923Xbox, G923 Playstation, RS50 and Direct Drive Pro (PC only). This means when you swap the stock round wheel for the F1L Series 3, you will have all the inputs you need to play on Playstation 4/5, Xbox and of course PC. Additionally, features such as the integrated telemetry will work independently of the system you are playing on. Furthermore, should you decide to upgrade to a different wheelbase, your F1L Series 3 will transition with you as it is compatible with many newer, direct drive systems.

Logitech RS50 and G Pro

Please note that the RS50 and the G Pro are supported in PC mode only.

MVH Logitech Quick Release

The Series 3 is compatible with our MVH Quick Release System but it is not a requirement and not included. See our quick release FAQ for more details.

Fanatec Compatibility

The Series 3 wheel line is compatible with Fanatec QR2 systems on PC and Playstation (Xbox is not supported). We achieved this by integrating our own electronics which emulates the Fanatec wheel electronics, enabling the Force Feedback without the need of a podium hub. The F1L emulates a Fanatec Clubsport Porsche 918 RSR within the Fanatec app in PC mode. Please also note that there are limitations on which buttons and dials can be mapped as our wheels offer more buttons than a standard Fanatec wheel. Due to Xbox and Playstation being different in how they handle authentication it is not possible to use a G920/G923Xbox Series 3 wheel on a Fanatec mount. Thrustmaster T598 and T818

For Thrustmaster T598 and T818 we emulate the original Thrustmaster F1 wheel and all of its inputs which also allows full force feedback to be enabled while using the F1L. Please note that there are limitations on which buttons and dials can be mapped as the wheel offers more buttons than a standard Thrustmaster wheel and in some cases only PC can be supported (depending on the Thrustmaster servo base). Moza, Simagic, Simucube and more

With the F1L Series 3 we created a wheel that is compatible with Simucube, Simagic, Moza Racing and any other direct drive system that will accept third party PC based wheels with a 70mm standard 6 hole wheel pattern (Xbox is not supported on any wheelbase outside of G920 or G923Xbox Logitech and Xbox Thrustmaster systems). When connected to a PC with the supplied coiled cable, it becomes a USB device that is recognized as a Windows game controller.

Plug and Play

All our wheels for Fanatec, Thrustmaster, Moza, Simagic and PXN come with their quick release system included. Logitech G29/G920/G923 do not require a quick release and can be installed directly as a replacement for the Logitech round wheel. The MVH Quick Release System is not a requirement and not included.

Playstation and Xbox

The F1L will work on PS5 and Xbox. Depending on the Logitech wheelbase you have, choose the correct mount version of the F1L Series 3. Note that while the F1L has many inputs, G920 wheels have less and not all can therefore be mapped. See the support centre for which buttons are mappable. Please note that Xbox is only supported when using a G series Logitech wheelbase (G923Xbox and G920) or a Thrustmaster Xbox wheelbase.

4.0 inch Telemetry Display

The 4.0 inch telemetry display is fully compatible with any game (for example Gran Turismo 7, F1, etc). that provides telemetry data via Wifi. It features the same game support as our popular stand alone Telemetry Display as well as free over the air updates and support. Due to the energy efficient design, the integrated display will not need any cable when used on a Logitech G29/G920/G923, Fanatec or Thrustmaster system.

RGB REV LEDs and Flag LEDs

The F1L features fully adjustable REV LEDs and Flag LEDs. This feature also works on the Logitech G920 as it is being controlled through our own electronics. Please note, this feature requires telemetry data from the game - see our supported games list in the support centre.

Button Stickers and Caps

As standard the F1L ships with a high quality vinyl, sticker sheet. Additionally, we offer ABS injection molded, colour button caps and team stickers (not included).

Grips and materials

One of the most important aspects of a wheel is how it feels in your hand which is why we have opted to cast the F1L grips out of durable polyurethane (60A shore scale). The ergonomic design and the new LowPoly grip pattern ensure a solid grip while being soft enough for long sessions without the need to wear gloves, no matter how hard you race.

Carbon Fibre PLA enclosure

We use the latest PAHT-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced High-Temperature Nylon) with improved stiffness and strength for all our enclosures but most importantly, weight saving. This is especially important for weaker wheelbases such as non direct drive systems. Additionally, PAHT-CF exceeds the mechanical properties of standard PLA in bending resistance and impact strength by between 20% and 115%, and we use F1 grade SLA printers to manufacture most of the additional parts to achieve ABS like properties and finish, as well as CNC machined parts.
