The Timmy in an MXR Custom Shop jacket — transparent overdrive with its own voice
The MXR Custom Shop Timmy is the officially licensed version of Paul Cochrane's renowned Timmy Overdrive — a pedal that has been the gold standard for transparent, musical overdrive for years. The circuit enhances your tone without coloring it: what you put in comes out amplified and more vibrant. From a subtle, open boost to a full, gritty overdrive with character — the Timmy responds to every nuance of your playing.
The MXR Custom Shop Timmy offers Volume, Bass, Treble, and Gain controls, true bypass, and 9V power. Suitable for electric guitar in all styles. The Custom Shop version combines the legendary Timmy tone with the robust MXR casing — an ideal combination for both studio and stage.
