Unparalleled Versatility

The Darkglass Alpha·Omega Ultra provides an impressive amount of versatility in one pedal. At the heart of the pedal are two distinct distortion circuits, as well as a 6-band graphic EQ, and Cabinet Simulation. Using the blend knob, you can retain exactly the right amount of your dry signal to create the ultimate mix of clarity and grit.

The Alpha distortion is tight, defined and punchy, while the Omega is brutal and raw. The MOD knobs allows you to choose between them, or create a unique blend of the two circuits. The 6-band graphic EQ provides +-12dB on the lows at 80Hz and the highs at 5kHz, as well as +-10dB at 4 different mid frequencies (250Hz, 500Hz, 1.5kHz, and 3kHz). Tweak your tone even further with the Bite knob for added presence and Growl knob for fatter tone and low end saturation.

We all know that a great bass cabinet can be an integral part of your sound. Unfortunately, capturing that full sound in a recording is not an easy feat to accomplish. Aside from the cabinet itself, it requires expensive, high quality mics, and a finely-tuned live room. Darkglass has included digital impulse response cabinet emulation, giving you a library of top-of-the-line cab sims built directly into the Alpha Omega Ultra's XLR Direct Output. To load new cabinets, just connect your Mac or PC to the pedal's Micro-USB B Port. The cab sim also carries over to the headphone jack, so your silent practice sessions will have the same inspiring tone you expect from your Darkglass gear.
