Das leichte, wasserabweisende 30 Denier DRILITE® LOFT™ Außenmaterial schützt den Schlafsack vor Morgentau. Das Innenmaterial ist zu 100% recycelt.

Trapez-Kammern auf der Oberseite und schräge Box-Kammern auf der Unterseite optimieren die Wärmeleistung, verhindern Kältebrücken und ein Verrutschen der Daune. Die sechs Kammern des anatomisch geformten Fußteils sorgen dafür, dass die Füße schön warm bleiben. Dies ist besonders wichtig ist, wenn man sich längere Zeit in sehr kalten Regionen aufhält. Die Kapuze besteht aus fünf Kammern, die für eine optimale Verteilung der Daune und gleichmäßige Wärme sorgen.

Der lange Reißverschluss mit Gemini™ System verhindert Wärmeverluste in diesem kritischen Bereich und ist verstärkt, um ein Einklemmen des Zippers zu verhindern. Der flache, magnetische Lode Lock™ Verschluss und die Kordelzüge am Wärmekragen lassen sich auch in der Nacht gut bedienen.

Comprehensive wilderness medicine reference
Format: Paperback
First off, this book should be supplement to actual in-person first aid training and course work. I only have my background in Boy Scouts and work required first aid/cpr/stop the bleed response to base this upon. But there is no substitute for competent in-person and hands on training, even if you have excellent books for reference. That said, this book does have a very thorough guide on most issues that could be faced in wilderness and emergency situations. The cross over for urban use, would be situations like a natural disaster that renders hospitals and EMS unavailable or over capacity. It's a very affordable book for all the information it contains, and is published by a reputable school. NOLS has been teaching outdoors skills since it was formed in the 1960s. If you can keep a level head and have decent reading comprehension, this book lays out diagnostic and treatment advice for many life threatening injuries and accidents. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking to expand and supplement their knowledge beyond basic first aid and CPR.
